The easiest way to keep silver bright and shining is to use a polishing cloth. If it is regularly worn it will stay silver too.  Fine silver is .999, it is pure silver so does not oxidise as sterling .925 does.  Baking soda or mild toothpaste can be used to clean silver but be careful of using it near gemstones as it is abrasive.

As the oxidisation wears off over time, depending on your skin's pH, the high points of the piece will turn silver. This adds a wonderful contrast to the jewellery. However, if keeping the item dark is important to you let us know and we can arrange to reoxidise your piece for you or explain the process so you can. To polish oxidised silver DO NOT use a polishing cloth, use 100% cotton, an old pillow case etc.

* Any silver pieces can be oxidized for no extra charge.

To clean your gemstone a little bit of hand soap or dishwashing liquid and an old toothbrush/paintbrush will do the trick. Warm water and gently soap behind the stone to get rid of debris and bring back the brilliance, wash with warm water and dry with a clean, soft cloth or towel.
